Christine Andrews
Christine Andrews joined the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Stillbirth in early 2018 and works as a postdoctoral research fellow. Prior to this she completed her PhD with the Centre for Children’s Burns and Trauma Research, investigating burn injury prevention. Christine’s research interests are in better understanding and evaluating the approaches used to promote translation of research into evidence-based clinical practice. Christine’s current work is undertaken within the context of a funded partnership with Departments of Heath across Australia, to implement and evaluate a bundle of care to address priority evidence practice gaps in stillbirth prevention. Her role is to lead the coordination and evaluation of the Safer Baby Bundle nationally. Christine is passionate about research education, training and supporting career development opportunities for ECRs. She is a member of the Stillbirth CRE Research Capacity Development Committee ECR, the PSANZ ECR Executive team and the Mater Student Research Committee.
