Sheridan Guyatt
Sheridan is a Physiotherapist with over 25 years experience in caring for women through pregnancy and postnatal recovery. She is currently in the final stages of her PhD investigating effective co-designed perinatal education. She is passionate about working together with a multidisciplinary team to support women through pregnancy, birth and beyond and collaborating with women to co-design interventions to best meet their needs.
Her current role is as a Senior Physiotherapist at the Mater Mothers Hospital where 10 000 women come to birth each year.
Sheridan is grateful to the Mater Foundation and Mater Research for the support of the Betty McGrath Fellowship the allows clinicians to pursue health service research.
